ANTHOS PRESSED FLORAL
Client Guide, Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy
Welcome
At Anthos Pressed Floral, we specialise in transforming your wedding bouquet and meaningful flowers into timeless keepsakes. Each piece is handcrafted in our studio in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire and designed to preserve the beauty and sentiment of your flowers for years to come.
Please read the following information carefully before proceeding with your booking.
1. Securing Your Booking
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Booking dates are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
This deposit secures your date and covers the purchase of frames, glass, preservation materials and other supplies required to prepare for your order.
The deposit will be deducted from your final balance.
No refunds will be provided on deposits once a booking has been confirmed.
2. Lead Time and Completion
The standard turnaround time for floral preservation is approximately 6–8 months from the date your flowers are received by Anthos Pressed Floral.
Timeframes may vary depending on flower type, preservation requirements, design complexity, seasonal demand and order volume.
While every effort is made to complete orders within this timeframe, preservation is a delicate process and occasional delays may occur.
Clients will be contacted once their artwork is nearing completion to arrange final payment, collection or delivery.
3. Flower Delivery & Condition
Flowers should arrive at our studio no later than three (3) days after your event unless otherwise agreed.
The fresher your flowers, the better the preservation outcome.
Sydney clients are strongly encouraged to deliver flowers directly to our Illawong studio.
Clients posting flowers are responsible for packaging, postage costs and ensuring flowers are shipped promptly.
Detailed packing instructions will be provided.
We recommend registered and tracked postage.
Anthos Pressed Floral is not responsible for flowers lost, delayed or damaged during transit.
We are not responsible for interstate biosecurity requirements, restrictions or delays. Please check with relevant authorities prior to shipping flowers.
Clients are responsible for ensuring all shipping information, addresses and delivery details provided to Anthos Pressed Floral are accurate and complete.
Anthos Pressed Floral accepts no responsibility for flowers, parcels or completed artwork that are delayed, lost, misdirected or returned due to incorrect, incomplete or outdated shipping information supplied by the client.
Anthos Pressed Floral is not responsible for flowers sent to an incorrect address, incorrectly addressed parcels, or parcels delivered to the wrong location due to inaccurate shipping information provided by the sender or courier.
If flowers are sent to an address other than the address provided by Anthos Pressed Floral, any resulting loss, delay, deterioration or damage to the flowers remains the responsibility of the client.
Some flowers may arrive bruised or damaged during transit. We will preserve as many flowers as possible but cannot guarantee every bloom can be used.
We reserve the right to refuse an order if flowers arrive in unsuitable condition.
Anthos Pressed Floral will contact clients once their flowers have safely arrived at our studio.
4. Preservation & Design Process
Flowers are carefully disassembled, individually preserved and then reassembled into a custom artwork.
As part of this process, your flowers may appear different from their original bouquet arrangement.
The final artwork should be considered an artistic interpretation of your bouquet rather than an exact replica.
Some flowers may not be suitable for preservation and we will advise if any flowers cannot be included in the final design.
Flowers Preserved in Condition Received
Flowers are preserved in the condition in which they arrive at our studio.
Anthos Pressed Floral cannot restore flowers that have wilted, browned, bruised, moulded, deteriorated during transit, or otherwise been affected by age, weather conditions, handling or shipping delays.
The final result will always be influenced by the condition and freshness of the flowers received.
Artistic Design & Creative Process
Floral preservation is both a preservation process and an art form.
While we welcome design preferences and inspiration, clients acknowledge that Anthos Pressed Floral retains creative discretion regarding the final placement, arrangement and composition of preserved flowers.
This allows us to achieve the most visually balanced and structurally sound artwork while working with the flowers available.
The final artwork may differ from the original bouquet, inspiration images or digital mock-ups.
Use of Flowers & Foliage
Not all flowers, foliage or bouquet elements may be included in the final artwork.
This may be due to flower condition, preservation results, frame size limitations, design considerations or the suitability of certain blooms for long-term display.
Anthos Pressed Floral will determine which flowers and foliage are best suited to the final design.
Any flowers, foliage or bouquet components not used in the final artwork may be discarded unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing prior to preservation commencing.
Design Approval & Client Response
Where design approval is required, Anthos Pressed Floral will make reasonable attempts to contact the client.
If no response is received within 30 days of contact, Anthos Pressed Floral reserves the right to proceed with the design based on the information available in order to avoid unnecessary delays to the preservation process.
5. Natural Variation & Colour Changes
Flowers are a natural product and variations in colour, texture, shape and appearance should be expected.
During preservation, flowers may fade, darken, lighten or change colour completely.
Certain flowers, including tulips, pastel roses and other delicate blooms, may lose much of their original colour during preservation.
White flowers may naturally develop ivory, cream or antique tones over time.
These changes are a normal part of preservation and contribute to the unique character of each artwork.
Colour correction is available as an optional service and incurs an additional fee.
To create your artwork, flowers are carefully disassembled, individually preserved and then reassembled into a custom design. As a result, your preserved flowers may appear different from their original bouquet arrangement.
While we strive to maintain the beauty and essence of your bouquet, the final artwork should be viewed as an artistic interpretation of your flowers rather than an exact replica of the original bouquet.
To maximise preservation outcomes, it is advisable to discuss your flower varieties and colour palette prior to your event.
Please ask your florist not to spray preservatives or coatings onto your flowers as these can interfere with preservation and colour correction.
6. Postage & Delivery of Final Artwork
Postage costs will be added to your final invoice.
Completed frames are professionally packaged and shipped via insured courier.
Tracking information will be supplied once dispatched.
Insurance covers the value of the artwork only.
No additional claims can be made beyond the insured value of the product.
Clients are responsible for ensuring the delivery address provided for their completed artwork is accurate and current at the time of dispatch.
Alternatively, completed frames may be collected from our Illawong studio by appointment.
Collection, Storage & Unclaimed Artwork
Clients will be notified once their artwork is complete.
Completed artwork should be collected or shipping arranged within 60 days of notification.
Anthos Pressed Floral reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees for artwork remaining uncollected beyond this period.
If artwork remains unclaimed for an extended period and reasonable attempts to contact the client have been unsuccessful, Anthos Pressed Floral reserves the right to dispose of or otherwise deal with the artwork as permitted by law.
7. Frames, Handling & Safety
All frames contain glass and must be handled with care.
Pre-made frames should always have secure clips in the closed position.
Do not attempt to open the frame or remove flowers, as this may cause permanent damage to the artwork or result in personal injury.
Do not alter or replace hanging hardware unless professionally installed by a qualified framer.
Frames should be displayed away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and humidity.
Anthos Pressed Floral accepts no responsibility for damage, injury or loss resulting from incorrect hanging, handling or display of frames.
8. Payments
Payments are accepted through Stripe, Etsy Payments and approved payment methods listed on our website.
Final payment must be received before artwork is released for collection or shipping.
No Refunds & Cancellations
As all Anthos Pressed Floral artworks are custom-made and created specifically for each client, refunds, exchanges or returns are not available for change of mind.
Once preservation work has commenced, no refunds will be provided for cancellation of an order.
The non-refundable deposit secures your booking date and covers the purchase of frames, materials and preparation costs associated with your order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Photography & Marketing Consent
By proceeding with a booking, clients consent to photographs of their flowers and completed artwork being used for promotional purposes including:
